About Dr. Syed Arman Raza
Dr. Syed Arman Raza, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a Houston-based interventional cardiologist originally from Pakistan. He earned his MD at Dow Medical College (Karachi) in 2001, completed an internal medicine residency at Michigan State University, and trained in general and interventional cardiology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Since 2013, Dr. Raza has practiced in Houston and serves as a managing partner of Texas Cardiology Associates of Houston. In academics, he is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Houston College of Medicine and core faculty for the Internal Medicine residency program at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood.
He specializes in general cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, managing conditions such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, arrhythmias, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and cardiomyopathies. Dr. Raza performs advanced procedures including angioplasty/stenting and acute myocardial infarction care. He is fluent in English and Spanish, accepts Medicare/Medicaid, and welcomes new patients at multiple Texas Cardiology Associates locations in Kingwood, Humble, Houston, and The Woodlands.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Raza is the current President of APCNA (Association of Pakistani Cardiologists of North America). He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (FSCAI). He is also actively involved in research with numerous publications in cardiology journals.
